I am a ceramic artist. I adore spooky things and pretty details, the kind that fill fantasy books and films. If you think it is normal to be strange, welcome to COWL.store.
Clay of the Wild Land, or simply COWL.store, is our way to bring a fancy fantasy world into daily life. We create our own small universe of funny creatures, gothic little objects, and useful ceramics with character.
Fantasy for daily life
Inspired by books, films, folklore, old castles, candlelight, and strange little creatures, we make ceramics that feel like they came from a tiny fantasy world but still belong on a real table, altar, shelf, desk, or windowsill.
Our main idea is simple: unique and beautiful things can be useful and comfortable. A handmade object does not have to stay untouched on a shelf. It can hold tea, candles, plants, dice, pens, snacks, or a small daily habit.
The making process
Sketch
Ideas start as silhouettes, creature habits, spooky moods, and useful forms.
Build
Each piece is hand-formed from ceramic clay with attention to touch and detail.
Glaze
Surfaces are layered for colour, character, and practical finish.
Fire
Finished work is fired, checked, packed, and sent through Etsy.
Practical notes
